Hey everyone, I hope you had a good weekend!

... So that was a little unexpected, I hope. To those wondering who did it, you will not get your answer in this epilogue. Maybe a mini comic in the future or something. I was going to make Chad's situation a focal point of the story, but I honestly didn't have the pages to work with.

In the end, it seemed better to just announce that he was dead, and let the audience wonder in the same fashion as the characters. It basically gives you guys some minor closure on that thread, while still leaving it open to explanation later on.

Well, time to upload it.

Take care, and have a great week!

It *is* a little like the musical score suddenly went a little discordant, and in a minor key -- isn't it?

Just now saw that parts of the epilogue are out... What a awesome(post) birthday present(spoiler alert, it was yesterday)!

How many more strips is there going to be?
Seems pretty depressing at this point :P

Happy belated birthday!

There are going to be .. uhh, I'd tell you, but June keeps changing it on me. :) ~6-8ish more?
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
Whoa.. that... that's a thing. With an axe too.wonder if john could do anything with his green stuff.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
June said that she picked an axe because it was immediately obvious what it was, even in shadow.
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
that makes sense. a sword or bat may not be as obvious. a crowbar might be a good pick too, but you could have used a medical cabinet, except you already did that. XD jokes aside, a sledge might have been a good choice too for obviousness, those are pretty distinct.

True enough :D

This isn't shaping up to a happy ending, Peter sad.

That's certainly the direction it seems to be going, isn't it? :)

Well... if a Four *had* to go to help the lower levels... couldn't have happened to anyone more deserving :-P
But shouldn't Beth have lost most of her brains-power if Chad (re)died? He was the one who boosted her all the way to Fourhood by Enlightening everyone in the vicinity (including RZ! The b******)...
Hugs to RZ while he still has a body to hug...

No, otherwise everyone under Robert who died would cut him off of everyone underneath them. They would be scores of zombies that were unconnected.

By taking Chad out, it basically reallocates more to the people who were under him, but the ones under Beth are still giving her most of what she had before.

if I may field this one: imagine a tetris wall, when you fill a line the blocks don't just float, they drop a block's width, by how many lines you cleared (2 lines 2 block width, tetris 4 block width)same idea, the gap fills itself, higher levels go down but lower levels become closer to higher levels.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
There is a net loss in the Green Stuff system though.
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
The cleared lines is the net loss. Tetris anology still works.

Poor Chad, He can still be useful. Why...if anyone needs a paper weight, or soccer ball, I'm sure he can help them get ahead...

Every suspect I consider (who amounts to everyone) seems a better suspect then the last. I'm currently going with RZ as the killer, those beady little (er big) eyes harbor deep rooted revenge against the bastard...

Haha, it's like Who Shot Mr. Burns? Or who ... something'd JR? if you're older.

OK, on to my grocery list of questions:

1- Did someone waste the other PSO's?
2- Whatever happened to [Nameless Security Guy, who I call Harvey]?
3- What is the population of TOGMOPOLOY?
4- What is happening to the rest of the world, was Robert A#1 the world over, or are there other "Roberts" (and therefore TOGM facilities)?
5- Who killed the Kennedy's?
6- Where, or who, is the "Ninja" Zombie that took out the Phantom's people?
7- Are RZ's action figures anyone in particular, I love his toys...
8- How many questions can I ask before you get annoyed? ;)
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
1. No, the other PSOs basically were recruited to help collect zombies.

2. He was rescued, but wasn't given a body. He got dunked into the VR machine early.

3. Lots.

4. There were no other Robert's. Just community leaders who are wondering why their TOGM supply stopped being brought in.

Those that could return were summoned by Robert's override command. Those who couldn't are out wandering, basically acting like Ones.

5. No idea.

6. The 'Ninja' zombie was a group of elite PSOs. They are helping out now.

7. Fuss and Shush :D

8. Have I ever gotten annoyed by questions?
Skrael (I'm the artist)
7) RZ's toys today are in fact Fuss & Shush!
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
OMG FUSS AND SHUSH TOYS! I want them! NOW!
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
RZ still isn't very good at sharing.. Of course, this whole plotline could be your diabolical plan to get them by getting him put in the VR Machine..

You monster!
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
How did you figure out my plans?! You knew I was hoarding the togm, you knew I was going to remake elizabeth's brain and restore her humanity, you knew all of it, didn'r you. All for the sake of those toys.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
Wait, I was just talking about the TOGM fries. :O
Skrael (Guest) edit delete reply
I actually was like, who the heck is Elizabeth for a few minutes. lol.
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
Hehe. Great throwback there James. As for you june. Tsk tsk, forgetting the names of characters you draw so often. To be fair she goes by beth, and her full name is only mentioned in passing.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
I think Robert is the only one who called her Elizabeth.

Since she didn't deny nor confirm his question if she killed him, I'm gonna say she did :)
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
Ohohoho :) I will say that she's probably the one with the most motive, which probably makes her the least likely to have done it, based on how TOGM tends to go :D
asheswillfall (Guest) edit delete reply
I'm thinking it was a PSO. Someone he had to have pissed off recently.
Magravan edit delete reply

Who hasn't he pissed off recently?

OK, my guess, after reviewing my mental notes, is that RZ did it.

He is smart enough now, he was protecting his family (as he sees things), he is a zombie after all (so is capable of killing by nature), and (sorry I have to say it) certainly had an Axe to Grind with Chad...

Magravan
Good reasoning :)

I just had a thought:

What if the entire epilogue from here on out is just RZ's V.R. machine fantasy?

For that matter, they could all be in V.R. machines (except I assume john) and Robert could be sitting back and watching the show...

Are you going "Total Recall" on us? :)
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
I can definitely say that I might be possibly considering the potential of sort of thinking about going Total Recall on you.
