This Farewell Fanart comes from Kristy, creator of Wake the Sleepers (which has just finished a chapter, so a great time to start in on it!) and Trash Planet which is postponed, but definitely something worth keeping on your radar.

Thanks Kristy for yet another piece of wonderful fanart :)

First things first: The picutre is great.

Second(-ish): What does Farewell Fanart mean? Is the comic over? do yuo quit?

The comic seems to have ended suddenly--less of ending and more of "just stopping".

I think that a few more pages would have been needed to walk away from and feel content.

Great comic and I love it otherwise.

It's an ending, just perhaps not the most satisfying.

Yeah, kind of an "I had almost reached the Castle of Despair to battle the Wizard of Darkness for the fate of all mankind when I ran face-first into a tree. The end." type ending.

I'd describe it more as they finally reached the Castle of Despair, and were treated to a fallaway doormat with a slide that led to the Wizard of Darkness' secret lair, at which point the hapless squire killed him.

But hey, it's still better than most things that get cancelled midseason ;)

June (Skrael) will possibly be taking on a new writing partner for a short run story in a couple of months.

If you're interested, check back in a few months, and maybe there will be details about the project.

We might work together on something else in the more distant future, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it ;)

Not sure if anyone still reads this, or would have checked to the bottom of this, but we are prototyping a new comic idea that might be released in future.
