Hey everyone! I hope you guys had a great weekend!

Be honest, who thought Phantom would just run them down? :D 6 more strips to work with.. The next one will already have them there, I think... Lots of jumping forward will happen in the near future.

In other news, I watched Stardust for the first time and thought that it was surprisingly good (One of the kids put it on and I watched intently while they left and / or coloured with June respectively) and then I saw it was based on a Neil Gaiman story... So then it made more sense :)

Anyway, have a great week! We'll see you on Thursday :)

Wow the artwork has always been very good, but the last few pages have really nailed it! Beth looks Awesome!!!

I guess I wouldn't make a very good Phanton, I'd keep backing over until the crunchy and squishy parts were not so crunchy and squishy. See if Robert notices the effects of a few hundred less in his pyramid.

Perhaps we've all been around Sylene too long....

LOL@concert-crowd-zombies
thumbs up for that one June.

Mag, I thought Stardust was great, a silly/sappy love story but the background characters and interplay kept it interesting and fun (which is spot on for Gaiman)

@neon5162 - The resistance doesn't pay nearly well enough to have that kind of awesome deathmobile... :)

@Kanela - Haha! I get the feeling it'll be a group therapy session :D

@T.Gatto - She keeps telling me that I'm punishing her with my suggestions for scenes now :)

@asheswillfall - That comment tells me that I missed an opportunity for a throwback comment to Sylene's past... Maybe I'll see if I can fit that into the next one. (And I threw in a nod, thanks for the inspiration!)

@the_brigand - I thought she did really well showing the mass of zombies that lay ahead...

And I agree about Stardust... The main story itself probably wouldn't have been great on its own. I liked the dead brothers providing commentary on things :)

Its when I spotted the one throwing horns that I cracked up :)

Ha! That's not the mindless shambling along I had in mind when I wrote it lol :D

Is it possible that an entire rock Heavy Metal concert audience has survived, and is still partying it up, due to the sheer lack of brain power it takes to Rock On?

So it would seem.. A mosh pit would be a horrible place for surviving a zombie outbreak :)
Skrael (I'm the artist)
I thought the devil horns were cute, so I left it in as an easter egg :D (I used a free vector crowd to create the mob) .. I'm glad someone noticed. ROCK ON :)

So, when the one eyed leader of the rebellion tells you yuo are too aggressive and need help, that usually means you are in trouble.
Also: Fourth panel is pretty neat.

I think Beth just assumes the worst of him :D
asheswillfall (Guest) edit delete reply
Well... he has used people as human shields and done testings of the darts on people too. Wait, that's both on Sylene... does that count? :D

I bet she'd certainly think so :P

I laughed when I figured out what Phantom was doing. Because my first thought was certainly to mow them down!

Are they going to be a chorus line for a rendition of Re: Your Brains (from Robert to John)?

Also, you should tell us why nobody except Ol' Corpsey has a last name in this comic. Please?

Magravan
@PhilC - I think that's a lot of people's first thought, something I was poking fun at. I was hoping to develop a sense of pity for the zombies by this point.

@aok666 - If JoCo adds some hardcore metal to his repertoire, perhaps :)

The lack of last names is because, for the most part, it's a connection to humanity, and this just reinforces that lack.

Social structure is not what it once was, despite their efforts.

Based on that fact, I didn't see any reason to come up with any, except for Dr. Murphy, and I can't recall if I gave him a first name.
