Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend!

Okay... Am I the only one who thought "Ewwww" after reading that last panel? Unintended double meaning there. The title might have guided you down into the gutter... If so, sorry about that!

I hope you guys have a great week ahead, and thank you again for helping us reach #4 on TopWebcomics. I still don't quite understand how we managed, but I appreciate it. You guys are awesome :)

For this I suggested the title "Quit cloning around Robert" but James poopoo'd it :D (For good reason)

Tonight's vote incentive is an extra panel that I drew, but it has nothing to do with the real story, just something I wanted to draw that seems like a good "fifth panel" here -- I reiterate: it has NOTHING to do with what will happen next, just a fun image.

I think we just found where John came from... Also, I think we just found the real Thomas. ;_;

I don't know what's going on, but your default url greymeat.com isn't working right now, I had to type your comicfury address to access this page.

Insert scare chord, a big, long, screechy one!

@Asheswillfall - I wasn't sure if anyone else would stick around long enough to see that :I

@Nightsky - Where?

@Dodom - That's weird... Seems to be working for me now? The domain name server could have been down, maybe?

@PhilC - Or the surprised sound from Metal Gear :D
Asheswillfall (Guest) edit delete reply
@Mag yes that sound would fit so well, especially since you used a "!" in there. :)
the_brigand (Guest) edit delete reply
so, TOGM is made of mechanically separated Thomas? Ew, there could be toe-nails in my Brains! I'm never eating that stuff again.

the only way I know how to reach you guys is on togm.webcomics.ws... never failed me.

I Lol'ed on both the vote incentive page, Skrael, and the remark about the MGS alert sound... that was the first sound that actually popped up in my head when I saw that last panel :)

And Magravan: You 'managed' to get to #4 because we freaking love you guys and the comic.

Soylent Green is zombies?

First time poster. Just finished reading the archives last night. Fun.
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
"Fifth panel": I see the eyes are zombie black.
Has Robert *really* not yet considered the possibility that he's talking to a clone and the real Thomas is the new One? Robert is the smartest person ever, after all...
And I can't believe that John hasn't thrown up yet. (Out of interest, can zombies throw up?)
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@Asheswillfall - Yeah, that wasn't in the script, just something June drew :) I immediately heard the MGS sound in my head :D

@the_brigand - Mechanically separated parts of Thomas's clones :P

@Muchacho NL - greymeat.com is easier to pass out to people (though, I've learned not to use words with dual spelling in the title -.-)

Thanks for the love, it's just strange for us, I guess. TOGM has achieved far more than I ever considered when we first decided that maybe we could do this webcomic thing too... :D

@SirBrass - I certainly hope not! Eating zombies would be unpleasant, I think.

@aok666 - The black eyes are definitely not canon :D

As for Robert, it's one of those things where he's having difficulty seeing past his own efforts. His hubris makes him assume that the checks and balances that he created would hold, and the fact that John is not conforming to his expectations of what a clone would be through Thomas' efforts and some amount of luck, is preventing him from seeing what is more obvious to us.

1: some one should show chad "the shoot gun to the face" from sarge right on his face. That selfish bastard needs to case to be.
2:the guy sounds like he is about a few screws to believe he is a god.
3: did he really start the sombie apocalipse just so people can sing bungalla by losing their freedom. The above really fits him.
4: the attack really got them down in numbers. Now they really are in trouble.
5: has he ever heard of cattle? The reason people don't clone cattle is that reasing cattle is how you get the best result for the meat. He must be really deep in "2".
LadySol (Guest) edit delete reply
That is a powerfully creepy page
Dhraakellian (Guest) edit delete reply
@SirBrass

I was going to say, "Soylent Grey is People", but I think the two should be combined.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@Darr - We'll be revisiting Chad eventually, I think.

@LadySol - I'm glad you feel that way.. this was a pretty important page, overall.

@Dhraakellian - Soylent Grey is People is more valid :) (And wow, Soylent Grey could have totally worked instead of TOGM!)
the_brigand (Guest) edit delete reply
more like
the Other Gray Meat is Person

don't go piggy backing yourself on another IP, just think of the copyright issues you'd be facing by now.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
Yeah, TOGM has worked for us :)

Man, your artstyle and brand of "humor" could not be more derivative of Questionable Content if you tried.

Saw your 5-Star review on Webcomic List, and it shows...
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
Uh.. huh. So you're saying we deserve the 5 star rating because we're ripping off QC? *boggle* You are quite possibly the worst troll I've ever seen.
Guest (Guest) edit delete reply
No, you stole QC's art style and brand of "humor" after giving QC a 5 star rating. WHAT A GREAT FAN YOU ARE.

Don't be a dense tard.

>"... but also very helpful to those who want to learn how to create a webcomic of their own."

By stealing his!
Asheswillfall (Guest) edit delete reply
Sounds to me he was encouraging people to take it and use it. I think if the guy from QC had an issue with TOGM, wouldn't he contact them?

P.S. I know mag, I'm going against my "No Troll Feeding" policy but this one doesn't seem to fit the troll mold.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@Guest - Maybe if you post in on the QC forum, you let them all know what we're doing here. Feel free to include a link. Also, hats off on the research, it's been a loooong time since I wrote that, I didn't remember it at all. Good times :D

Also, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

@Asheswillfall - Who knows? I guess this is the person's most recent internet crusade. Maybe for their next act they'll go badger someone on YouTube?

We've met Jeph Jacques, and told him about our comic and how much we looked up to him. This individual has taken it upon themselves to fight a cause that I'm pretty sure Jeph wouldn't care about himself.
Skrael (I'm the artist)
I'm truly flattered that you think that my art even comes close to comparing to QC's. I don't agree, but thank you, nonetheless :D
Sir Brass (Guest) edit delete reply
I guess "Soylent Grey" would've given the game away too quickly ;). I thought "Soylent Green" b/c ... duh, and b/c the tanks in the last panel just ooze that green light, and b/c of the green ooze only he can see ;).
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
Soylent Green is the original though, and we'd never get anyone finding us on Google :)
Violet (Guest) edit delete reply
*looks at a few pages of Questionable Content* *looks back at a few pages of TOGM* *comes back thoroughly confused*
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
Yeah, not really sure myself, but some people feel the need to harrass people on the internet... What are you going to do?
Ehrgeiz0 (Guest) edit delete reply
TOGM. Did anyone comment before that if you throw in a couple of vowels and pronounce the "G" as a soft "G", it's pronounced Toe Jam?

So Toe Jam is made from people, like Soylent Green? Yum.
