Quick note, just because my laptop seems inclined to blue screening lately when trying to write or respond to things on CF. Not that I'm blaming CF, just don't want to lose another huge response. :/

We hit the 1 million Unique Visits (Each unique IP per day counts as 1 unique visit), as well as 7th on Top Webcomics. I just wanted to say thank you guys for the support along the way, you've all been great! I don't want to say it's entirely what sustains us, but it certainly helps with the slumps.

Have a great week, and if you're Canadian, enjoy Victoria Day!

Hello! I want to smack James right now. Why? Ask him! ARGH! The vote incentive image will NOT be a preview of the first panel of the next comic. Why? Ask James! Directly related to the fact that I want to slap him silly!

Hope you enjoy the incentive image any way!

Have a great weekend!

I love the comic. By CF you don't perchance mean Creativefreedomrpg.com do you. cause that would be awesome.

@Nedovak - I was referring to ComicFury, the site that hosts our comic :)

@Sooty - And deservedly so, unfortunately ;) Anyone who has us on Facebook already heard the story -.-

Well this is an interesting turn of events. And since Thomas is undead.... Hmh.... Things are going very different than i had.thought.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
That's not Thomas :) If only everyone in the story would figure out that there are two of them, they could start getting their names right :P
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
@Magravan: Possibly model S is referring to the dramatic irony of Robert's joking "Who are you and what have you done with my friend?" (Although John hasn't done anything to Thomas - he hasn't even met Thomas, at least not while conscious.)

Oh, maybe? I'm not sure :)

And here I am, trying to add you to my facebook to know the story, and all I know is "James" and "June".... that's not gonna hold firmly on facebook -_-'

On a related note: James (AKA MAgravan) shame on you for making your girl want to slap you (senseless).
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@T.Gatto - In that case, Robert has a job for you!

@Muchacho NL - Our names are at the bottom of the page, but I meant on the TOGM Facebook page :) James and June Maillet. I think I'm searchable, even if June isn't.

Next thing you know Sully will be ordered to "pick up that piece of paper"... why *did* he maintain his Two accent when speaking to John earlier?
I sweep the kitchen floor, very ineffectively, and leave all the dust hidden behind the bin because CBA to use the dustpan and brush. (And I can't use a mop, because I never know how to dry the floor afterwards.)
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@aok666 - The floor dries on it's own ;) If you're finding that it's taking too long, you need to wring out the mop better before you mop it in the first place :D
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
This is a student houseshare - no mop wringer, just as there is no grill rack suitable for human use (the only one we have has been in the garden for at least two years - long before we arrived - and has moss growing on it).
neon5162 (Guest) edit delete reply
mmm grilled moss
slap a bit of BBQ on that

While we know for certain that this is not the original Thomas, we have no way of knowing whether the Thomas that was munched on in the desert was the original Thomas or yet another clone that believed he was Thomas. I am inclined to skepticism since the original Thomas would have to be rather a cagey fellow to survive and thrive in a world of Zombies, and not likely to be so easily ambushed.
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
@neon5162: Moss wasn't the worst of it. I just bought a new grill rack.

@Brad: but the original Thomas had only escaped captivity about two days before he was killed. Before that, he'd been under Robert's... enforced protection for the entire zombocalypse.
I do wonder whether the zombified one is the decoy and John is actually Thomas. It's a possibility, anyway.

@aok666 - Oh I see :) I've never lived in a student houseshare ...

@neon5162 - Frank's Red Hot! I put that ^%$@ on everything. :D

@Brad - It's always fun to see what readers think that they know :)

@aok666 - Oh, I see. You can buy a new grill rack, but a mop wringer is not in the cards. I call shenanigans!
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
@Magravan: Because grill racks are much cheaper on eBay than mop wringers, plus mop wringers are too big to fit through a letterbox. What does "I call shenanigans" even *mean*?
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
'To "call", "claim" or "declare" shenanigans is to rhetorically label something as officially deceitful, improper, or otherwise incorrect.'

But really, I just like saying shenanigans, and mean it entirely tongue-in-cheek :)
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
You've already got me looking at the cheapest mop wringers on eBay (might be able to make my housemates chip in), so too late :-P

We have several possible theories to explain the current Thomas situation.
1) Thomas has been zombified, clone is safe.
2) More than one clone was created and Thomas is safe.
3) A clone was zombified and Thomas has amnesia.
Personally I want to go with no'3 mainly because we'll be able to watch the main protagonist get smarter but still be for the most part in a situation where he is outsmarted.
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
@Valanthos: but whether or not John is really Thomas, he'll be getting progressively better-informed - and he's smart to begin with. Not as intelligent as Robert, because Robert is by definition more intelligent than everybody (even Beth), but close to it... he could pass for a Four, remember.
I don't mind who John was, as long as he doesn't get zombified (and I rather hope that he stays John, because from what I can tell Thomas was a callous b*stard just like Robert.)
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@aok666 - Haha, well there you go then... I can't feel bad about that :P

@Valanthos - Or Thomas is actually a simulation of long dead individuals who are dedicated to controlling the flow of information in a digitized format :D

@aok666 - Thomas seemed like a bit of a jerk, based on the .. 1 or 2 scenes we actually saw with him... But of course that was a guy who had just trudged through the desert because the Twos grabbed the wrong guy... So... Probably justifiably ticked ;D
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
Wait whaaaat? So John was meant to stay behind while the Sack Brigade rescued Thomas, but Sack Brigade grabbed John and Thomas had to make his own exit (possibly with Sully's help)? You never said that before!!!
And I was also thinking of Ol' Corpsey's description of Thomas' visit (making very mean jokes about Thomas' "best friend")
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
Plus of course the fact that he made a sentient brain out of TOGM, stuck it in a clone of his body and left it to cover for him - from those notes he left, he doesn't seem at all sympathetic to any of John's possible shock/fear/horror/etc, but is only concerned with making sure that he doesn't mess up.
