Wow, it does look heavy! Beth should drop it on Phantom and take over the rebellion herself.

Can't really argue with Beth on that one...

Phew, I was afraid you'd died (or at least got kidney stones or something)! You are still the epitome of commitment and duty - what other webcomicartists would have posted while the artist was recovering from emergency surgery AND APOLOGISED because the strip wasn't coloured?

LOVE IT!

I'm sure the Phantom has a contingency plan, that involves proper TOGM distribution. I mean look at how good he is at .... um..... still thinking...... Nope I got Nothing.

Any second now, Sylene and the Phantom will re-enact the meatball scene from Lady and the Tramp - they're already an uptown girl and a downtown boy, after all...
I don't think a Three has the self-control to not eat all the TOGM. Beth, on the other hand, is about one brain off being a Five - she could resist real live brainz (if that is what John has), so she'd be an ideal TOGM distributor to the downtrodden masses.

@asheswillfall - Well that's good to hear ;) I hate screwing up like that :/

@PhilC - There would probably be certain perks to that route :)

@Nightsky - I just don't think you're trying hard enough ;)

@aok666 - Nah, this was my fault :) Thankfully, she's okay.

@T.Gatto - Stealing the secrets of the factory is creating his contingency plan!

@aok666 - Beth's a special case :) Just about anyone would have eaten his real live brains :)

@neon5162 - So long as they are the forgiving type, I'm okay with this :)

@Asheswillfall - I... uhm...

@neon5162 - This makes sense to me.

@ Magravan and Skrael: I personally look it like this:
You both do this for your own enjoyment and ours.
There are no benefits from you other than the fact that we LOVE your work.
So I have no right to complain about an update being late or even missed: I will assume you have your reasons for that, even if that one is a miscalculation or even miscommunication between the two of you.
So I can really not be bothered by a missed update, simply because I'm reading a FREE webcomic, so I have no rights to demand or expect anything from you two.

So you're always forgiven ;)

@Muchacho NL: their concern is the Six O'Clock Rule (my name for it, after a paragraph in "Thud!" by Terry Pratchett). If they miss the deadline once, it becomes easier - hurts them less - to miss it again. And then they might miss it by more and more, they might go on hiatus. They said at the beginning that NO WAY PEDRO do they intend to *ever* fall into that vicious spiral - they've seen it be the death of too many good webcomics. And my heartiest congratulations to them for doing such a great job so far! Wish I were that good at not being late.

Just to clarify: that paragraph in "Thud!" which I mentioned describes how a character always reads to his little son at 6pm, no matter how urgent everything else is. There are no exceptions to this rule. NO exceptions. Because if he lets it go one minute later, soon it'll be two minutes - then three, then five. All too soon, five minutes will become half an hour, then a whole hour, then two hours, and next thing you know it's the middle of the night and he wouldn't have seen his son all day. Everybody understands this (and he's head of the police force!), so they will always help him to get back in time.

Also, it's THEIR decision to be so rigourous with themselves. No pressure from me :-D

@Muchacho NL - aok666 sums it up perfectly :) If I make it a big deal everytime we miss the deadline, by a minute or 12 hours (uuuugh!), then it's less likely to become typical. The fact that there was no good reason to miss it doesn't help either.

@aok666 - That's pretty much the exact premise I'm working on... The fact that it's from Pratchett just makes it better ;)

@Magravan: Best of luck with maintaining the rule! I'll try to find the actual quote at some point.
I tried to apply the Six O'Clock Rule to my bedtime (no later than 2am). Worst I've managed so far is 2:45am. Although there was one day when I couldn't get to sleep until 5am - luckily I didn't have lectures the next day!

Seems like a valid rule I'd have to apply to something.
Don't know what, though xD

@aok666 - Thanks, we'll need it :D

@Muchacho NL - Some things are worth it :)
