Hey guys, hope you're having a great week ;)

Not a lot to say, check back to the last one if you want to be a last minute consideration for being drawn into the comic.

All the best, and have a great weekend!

TOGM doesn't come in peach flavor? Darn. I wanted peach-flavored artificial brains. D:

This comparison reminds me... Didn't Sylene eat fries and a burger? Was that made of TOGM, or was it actual potatoes and beef? On that note, what's the zombie equivalent of a vegetarian? Do they eat the OTHER other gray meat??

It's all TOGM, no matter what it looks like :) And vegetable shaped TOGM is about as close as they are going to get to being Vegetarian... When it's your sole means of sustenance, you eat your brains / brain substitute and like it ;)

All this makes me feel bad for Thomas - he sounds like a cool guy. We just met him and then he got his brain munched! Alas, poor Thomas!

Alas, poor Thomas! Robert knew him well.

Personally, I'm surprised at how well John stepped into Thomas' shoes. He doesn't seem the least bit nervous and acts pretty calm...

Alex Starkiller
He's been pretty chill, for living in a zombie apocalypse.

John must be getting quite a bit of memory back, or he has one hell of a survival instinct.

@PhilC - I'm kind of glad to said that... One of the parts I was looking forward to with this arc was to introduce Thomas in a more roundabout way. Obviously he can't come right out and explain anything that isn't Brain brains brains, so it is nice that you're feeling something for him.

@Alex Starkiller - At least someone did ;)

@Nightsky - I think John's adrenaline system is probably overloaded at this point... There comes a certain point where you're just ... drained.

@Alex Starkiller - He certainly is... Fortunately, that's been an advantage for him :)

@T.Gatto - The next time we come back to John (After 250), I think that his memory situation will be made more clear. :)

And yes, he does have one hell of a survival instinct.

Just found your comic today, read through the whole thing in a few hours and absolutely love it; however, I can't seem figure out your update... dates. Again, great job, awesome writing, very nice drawings and highly addictive.

I like how now and again you jiggle my sense of humor switch...

@AndersonB - I'm glad you enjoyed it. Our update schedule is Monday and Thursday for 'proper' updates, typically fluff updates, fan art etc is on Saturday, but Saturdays are 'when there's something to post', as opposed to Monday and Thursday which are consistent updates.

@the_brigand - It's great when we get something that works :) The storyline doesn't always allow me to try for a joke, but I'm glad that you're happy with them when we do fit them in :)

Thanks. I had forgotten the schedule. :)

Also, is there a "proper" way to pronounce TOGM? I keep thinking it's "tah-gm" which is hard to spell out, basically being "gum" without the "uh" sound. :P

I personally pronounce it Taw-gum, but I don't think it really matters. People in the world likely pronounce it different ways as well. :)

@Magravan

I was pronouncing it Toe-Gum :P
Alex Starkiller edit delete reply
Alex Starkiller
Ha. I meant "taw" but I couldn't think of that spelling. XP Fail.

And toe-gum sounds less tasty than TOGM.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@Feartheswans - I blame T.Gatto for that :) Seriously though, there are people in world who pronounce it that way ;)

@Alex Starkiller - TOGM wasn't supposed to be all that tasty anyway ;) Maybe Toe-Gum is more appropriate ;)
