Gah! Sorry for this being late. I don't know why I have such trouble putting these up. Cuuursessss!

This is from Ryan C. who does Frostbound, a comic featuring a heck of a lot more snow than we've gotten so far this year...

If you listened to the ConventionFury streams, he was also one of our esteemed guests, and definitely had a great voice for it, as well as a lot of good insights.

The cool part of this image tied into a conversation I had about fantasy armour on women. Stereotypically, female armour is ridiculous, and shows a ton of skin and not a lot of protection. This, on the other hand, seems somewhat practical...

Which is weird. TOGM zombies are probably the least interested in the preservation of most of their bodies compared to most characters out there, in that the only thing worth protecting is their head.. So our zombie girl, who needs less armour overall, is probably wearing more armour than a lot of fantasy game girls out there. I don't know, just an odd thought that came to me when I first saw this guest art :)

So again, apologies for being late, both to the readers and to Ryan himself...

indeed. hair is far more important than protection.

Use enough hairspray, and it'll be both.

After an extensive google image search, I am forced to agree that, yes, warrior women armor is very impractical. Chain mail bikinis! More research is required...

@model S - So we are in agreement :D

@Iceburgh - That reminds me of some comedy show I saw back when 90210 was popular about "Hair Fights", where characters looking like they were from 90210 would try to gore each other with their overly hairsprayed hair.

@PhilC - Chainmail bikinis can have entirely different uses for them, though >:D

I have this comic "gearing up the hero: girls vs boys" it shows the guy getting all this armor for various epic reasons, and then the girl is handed a gold bikini and thong with "here. Wear this" if i find it I'll send it to you.

Technically both girls are wearing more armour than John :)

I see what you did there James. But this is from something else entirely someone was making fun of how guys in rpg's are all armor clad badasses that beat the opposition with sheer force, where as the chick is a bikini clad fanservice slutmuffin. Only there to be sexy.
