First up, ConventionFury is on Saturday. Specific times are still up in the air, but June will probably stream drawing, and I'm going to be participating in some panels... If you want to come hear us and other ComicFurians chat about comic relevant stuff and draw for your amusement, the link is here.

In other news, Muchacho NL has won the "Get your face on a TOGM zombie" contest. We only had 4 entries, so sorry to the other 3.

Ahhhhhh, I'm really happy with my writing on the middle panels ;D We had some communication issues on this one, if you're wondering why the PSOs are inside of the same thing that John's hiding behind. Oops.

So long as people get the idea that the Sack Brigade drew them off from the entrance so that John and R.Z. could get in, I guess it works...

I really liked June's idea to make the TOGM factory look like some fantastical place in R.Z.'s imagination... I think that his imagination was probably one of the better ideas that we had for TOGM... It provides an interesting visual sometimes, even if it's just a dull thing going on.

Soooo, see you guys on Thursday, and hopefully some of you will come out for ConventionFury :) (If you get yourself a uStream account, you will be able to participate in the general chat going on in the uStream chatroom while you listen to the audio panels)

LOL.. this is what he wrote:

Action: John ducked behind some boxes with the PSOs, Security and Sack Brigade running the other way.

Well, I changed the boxes to an indoor bush.... but I still got it wrong :P

It sounded better in my head. Honest!

Panel one is amazing in that no body seems to know 100% of what's going on around them.
Also, I feel that hiding in a bush is definitely in-character for me. Just pointing that out.

It always does sound better in our heads, Mag... it always does.
Cool R.Z. and the TOGM Factory, Skrael, loving it.

In other news:
*dances the cha-cha-cha*
I'm gonna be on TOG-M, I'm gonna be on TOG-M, I'm gonna be on TOG-M!!!

LOL, your random number generator made me as happy as a 5 year-old on Christmas-eve... :)

Better way to phrase it: "Action: John ducked behind some boxes; the PSOs, Security and Sack Brigade all running the other way". Semicolons FTW! Mark of a good writer according to my mum, mostly because Philip Pullman uses shedloads of them and JK Rowling never uses any.
Other stuff: why is RZ eating a conveyor belt?

@MarshmallowGherkin - Is being completely oblivious to the guy whispering on the other side of said bush that you are unexpectedly hiding in also in character? :P

@Muchacho NL - I really enjoyed R.Z. having a ball... And thanks for participating in the contest, hopefully you'll be happy with whatever random character you end up being :) It could be a while before the opportunity presents itself though ;)

@aok666 -

Action: R.Z.; eating; from; the; conveyor; belt; or; maybe; wrestling; a; confused; looking; Two; for; some; TOGM;?

"Eating from the Conveyor Belt" turned into "Eating the conveyor belt", I guess? :P (I added semi-colons for readability, obviously June didn't have that advantage)

This oddly makes TOGM appealing looking, as a foodstuff that is.

R.Z. and the TOGM Factory was amazing, but R.Z. nomming on the conveyor belt was so epic I just couldn't stop laughing! Awesome strip today! :D

If you know what I mean

@Magravan: semicolons are also extra handy for when your sentence is so long that you've exhausted the possiblities of brackets, dashes and commas. Maybe the conveyor belt is secretly filled with TOGM? Makes it harder for workers to sneak handfuls off it.

CURSE YOU MUCHACHO!! why do random numbers hate meeeeee!?

great work june! i love the willy wonka thing! or in this case Rilly Zonka (cause R.Z. ... -pelted with TOGMatos-)

@Shector - Thanks for letting us know you were out there, and I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

@Lunaroki - I don't know if there's enough TOGM in the factory to accomodate him ;)

@T.Gatto - It SURE does!

Also, thank you for the support ;)

@FenBisher - Our comic makes someone look forward to Mondays? :O

And I write most of the jokes, though once in a blue moon, June comes up with something for it :)

@Muchacho NL - I think he has better belt manners than that...

@MatthewJA - You missed the proper link... For shame, Matt, for shame.

@aok666 - Uhm.... Maybe... Or it could be scratch and sniff ;P

@model S - Charlie Bucket was the kid going around... Willy Wonka was the guy running the place... I stand by my Robbie Ronka :P

@Balthasar - Sort of a Hannibal Lector mask would work too ;)

@Tiberiius - Thank you for letting us know you're out there! Did you find it took a long time to get through?

@model S - You need to shrink that down :P

@aok666 - Spoon tax, probably. Maybe we could arrange for sporks?

Tiberiius (Guest) edit delete reply
@ Magravan: Not at all. There were one or two that didn't seem to fit with the flow, but, overall, the story so far as blended very well and happened to make for very easy reading/viewing.

@ model S : Thanks! :)

For some reason I was expecting the inside of the TOGM Factory to be more "Soylent Green" than "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". LoL :)
