Hey guys, hope you had a great week.

No time for an extended note right now, so quick points... Better one later.

The voting on TWC has been awesome, but we didn't get into the top 20 this month, so I'm trying to think of something else nice we can do that doesn't cost money.. Any thoughts?

Have a great weekend, and I tracked down another piece of fan art, so we're going to have one on Saturday.

See ya later!

@Skrael - I agree... Still a little too skinny...

@model S - That's an option... Oooh, or I could host a contest where the winner gets to be drawn into an upcoming strip... We're going to have some minor characters coming up between now and 225...

I have no personal qualms about Sylene's weight (although it is a little different. Sometimes change is good?), but I think the art weirdness may be stemming from a disagreement in the angle of her head and body - and I don't think conversations happen from that angle very often. So, practice 3/8 Sylenes until you go insane, and your problems are solved.
Sompm (Guest) edit delete reply
Or don't go insane. Going insane would be bad. Also, by "don't happen" I mean "haven't happened in the comic", not "ever happen in real life". People talk face-to-face all the time, unless I'm dreadfully mistaken. It wouldn't be the first time.
Redifi (Guest) edit delete reply
Do these zombies have teh metabolisms?

If they do, the change is only natural :P
svzurich (Guest) edit delete reply
Sylene's had less TOGM over the last however long she's been held. If she still has a metabolism (I assume she does hence the constant desire to eat), it's only natural that she'd be a bit thinner by now.

I'm starting to get the impression that Sylene will eventually be the brains of the operation.
That alone makes this a Horror Comic. ;)

@mag: i like that idea! you should do that! and i will win!! BWAHAHAHA...maybe.

@Sompm - Going insane would be bad... We've got enough to worry about as it is ;)

@Redifi - She wouldn't gain or lose weight... They don't have a typical metabolism.

@svzurich - Less TOGM will not affect her weight. It would affect her ability to think clearly.

@T.Gatto - I agree! The colours alone would be horrific...

@model S - I might go with that one, unless someone offers a crazy good alternative. ;)

we should take over the world.... or make TOGM jello snacks?

Magravan
Tough call...
Grimjac100 (Guest) edit delete reply
If zombies eat TOGM, what happens to it? If they need to eat, one would think the food DOES something. Is it completely metabolized? Any waste products? And has it been established that TOGM has some sort of effect to keep the zombies intelligent (2s and above) and `healthy'? ARGH...too many questions I want answers to immediately!
T.Gatto edit delete reply
T.Gatto
The problem with the concept of TOGM poop, is that it would (in my opinion) be very difficult to tell from actual TOGM.
Might as well just run it right back through, as zombies are (in Beth's words) not known for being picky eaters.
YUCK!
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@Grimjac100 - Has it been established in the comic that the TOGM prevents them from degenerating? Honestly, I can't remember. It IS the case, and if they don't eat, they definitely suffer reduced intellectual capability.

As for the metabolism / waste product comment, that's unfortunately a RAFO (read and find out) that may or may not be addressed sometime in book 4..

@T.Gatto - I agree with you.. Ew.

Would these TOGM jello snacks be brain coloured?

I've been reading yer comic fer a while now, keep forgetting and remembering it, so it's fun to read it again every time :p
(though it might be a good idea to get myself that RSS something, still didn't look at it, while I already read over 300 webcomics... (and probably forgot about 200 of them again))

Totally unrelated: Magravan, I was reading the archives again today (like I said, keep stumbling across comics and forgetting half of the the story line, so I usually re-read them) and I saw a post about you playing League of Legends. I have no idea how old that post is so my question is kinda do ya still play League of Legends, and if so, how often?

PS: Keep up the good work with the comic, both of ya!
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@Lemur - Depends on how drunk the person making them was :)

@LCII^Bun-Bun - Wow, that's a lot of webcomics :) RSS does help to keep them sorted out, from what I've seen...

And League of Legends, yes, I still play, usually at least the 1 daily game for 150 bonus IP, occasionally others if I feel into it or a friend is online :)

I'm Magravan on there as well, if you want to add me :)
LCII^Bun-Bun (Guest) edit delete reply
Just did, my nick is Skaliri, forgive me for being level 1 (or well, lvl 1 to 5 ish), I am originally from the europe servers, so did not have an account till this week.

And yeah, suppose RSS should be a good idea...

My worst (and best) till now was keeping about 200 webcomics open in firefox... my computer did not like that for some reason...
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
I thought that might be you, but I added you anyway ;)

I can see why your computer might not enjoy that... If you have some crazy good RAM, it might manage it, but ... wow..

Thank you very much for the congratulations :D

Sorry I've been so quiet for so long guys. Just thought I'd let you know I'm still reading, even when I'm not posting. I'm still a fan. Heh, I surprised my sister's boyfriend the other day when I found out he is also a fan. I told him about your kind inclusion of me as a guest two. Think he was impressed. *grin*

Skrael, your work continues to impress me! I can see the time and effort you've put in to improving your art and I have to say that I'm especially lovin' the hair! Oh yeah, Mag, your work's okay, too. *wink*
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
Did your sister's boyfriend discover the comic through you? Otherwise, that would be strange! As much as I would enjoy randomly bumping into a TOGM fan that we didn't already know personally (though, that's always great too!), I don't think that the comic is widespread enough for it to be a realistic hope yet... But I still sort of hope that someone will recognize us if we wear one of the TOGM shirts :)

Thanks for the compliments, though I am not terribly impressed with my contributions lately. They've been slow in coming, often left to the last minute, and they haven't been anything I've been super happy with lately... It's been a frustrating experience for a while now... But thank you anyway :)

I think Sylene looks fine. And it's nice to see she's being loyal to Beth, though who knows.. maybe it's just so she can get more TOGM.

...

what? That's how most of her arguments with me end up too!

Actually, he didn't hear about it from me. The subject hadn't come up before. I don't know where he heard about TOGM but it may have been from my nephew who heard it from my son who heard it from me. Eitherwise it was pure coincidence - a case of small-world syndrome. LOL
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@bbedlam - Well, she certainly wouldn't turn down some extra food... If you were offering?

@PixieSingsBass - Ha, I don't know why, but I think it's really nifty :) I don't recall if we referenced you by name or just the PixieSingsBass in that strip, but it was definitely for you :)
