First off, if you want to see fan art and didn`t see Saturday`s that was posted on Sunday (Sorry!), feel free to check back :)

Yeah, this is a "That's what she said" joke. I blame Mechanik. This was actually a nod to him and his incessant use of those jokes...

Also, we got pictures of someone cosplaying as the Phantom at a Zombie Walk :D I will figure out some place to post them now that I have permission, and share them with everyone. It's things like that which make us giddy as comic creators :)

Have a great week everyone!

I really worked hard on Chad's expressions in this one. I'm quite pleased with the results :)

Also, Beth's smirk says it all, if you ask me :P

By the way -- how many of you posted questions about Thw Walking Dead for the after show, The Talking Dead? I swear they had the exact same questions you guys ask us.

Are there zombie animals?
Can zombies gain weight?
What happens if a pregnant human gets bitten by a zombie, does it have a zombie baby?

We were laughing so hard :P

EDIT

I can't wait to show you The Phantom's cosplayer! It's sooooo awesome... I'm giddy :D :D

Yep, Beth's smirk does sum it up nicely. You'd think Chad would be able to last longer though.... rigor mortis and all that. Or something.

Honestly, there are some aspects of zombie life I'd really rather not know.

..... disregard, please :)

I'm laughing so hard after reading this! If he looked similar to this pre-enlightenment I'd say the steriods made him tiny besides being quick :D

Aha... ahahah. Priceless. A "That's what she said" joke once in a blue moon can work wonders, especially when it backfires.

Fantastic smirk is fantastic btw.

ah premature ejaculation, that's what she said, and a good ol'e fashion "yea dude that DOES make you less of a man" good work mag, 3 jokes in one AND explaining why chad tried to rape sylene.

@ june: great work june, the expressions are spot on for that kind of conversation, and that ammount of fail, you should do an alternate version where beth has the "dumb bitch" face in the last panel. just for fun. ^^ -nods- wonderful job june, 3 thumbs up -holds up a zombie arm i found-

@ T.Gattoand his costume: great work man, though... isn't the phantom more... purple? probably the closest you could find or something... right? still amazing work. great job.

I'm thinking Chad has never had to get by on his wit!

It was loads of fun at the Zombie Crawl, and the Phantom was fun to put together. This was my first time doing serious makeup on myself, and with 3 screaming kids at home (2 were going Brains Brains Brains, 1 was just screaming). I think it turned out OK.

@model S. that's exactly right, I had to go with the colors I already bought, before deciding on the Phantom. Next year I'll be more prepared.

@bbedlam - I liked the smirk expression. I thought June did great on it. And he was referring to pre-enlightenment points, but I guess I wont include you on my "Zombie Lovin'" distribution list.

@Asheswillfall - Representatives of TOGM are not willing to speculate on the state of Chad's pre-enlightenment junk at this time. :)

@Syaoran - That's what I was thinking too, but I'm glad that it seems people agree :D

@Skrael - And they are AWESOME!

@model S - Well, I think that there are lots of reasons that Chad is less of a man, in my opinion ;) This is probably one that he just recognizes.

And I thought that the colouring on T.Gatto's Phantom was pretty good :)

@T.Gatto - Wits are for folks who don't have XL15 bodies! :D I thought that the makeup was great, and I was impressed with the small details. The advertisement was a great touch :D

The slogan I thought of:
"TOGM: What's the alternative?"
As for Chad, he was probably on steroids pre-Enlightenment. Would explain a lot.

You did great, Skrael.
The smirk DOES say it all :D
She's not even going to dignify it with a response :D

Perfect in-character mess-up of a "That's what she said!" joke by Chad as well, Magravan.
Epic Burn.

I simply LOVE it.

Flawless victory!

How many of us have watched 'Waking the Dead' during the same week as 'The Walking Dead', and ended up referring to that cutting edge pet show...

'Walking the Dead'....

Incidentally, I think today's is my all-time favourite. Until my next all-time favourite. But it'll be there for a while, methinks.

@Model S - maybe they can sneak a recording of it to Sylene - bet she'll do the reaction you were hoping for. Plus a few I'M hoping for.... and then one or two that will make Beth smirk some more...

Heh heh heh

@aok666 - Haha, not exactly the best marketing ploy there... "As if you have a choice!"

@Muchacho NL - Her not dignifying it with a response is a good catch and leads into the next comic pretty well :)

@T.Gatto - And it looks great!

@cinnamonbrandy - I like how they have "The Talking Dead", a discussion on the show afterward :D

well mag, i forgot to mention this but your characters get more and more 3d with every strip, i like how you work backstory in with what's going on now. you've done a wonderful job with the writing.

june: your art has continued to improve, and develop into a wonderful style that fits this world you and mag have created.

i just thought you'd like to know that. zombies are hard to pull off without being a direct ripoff of something, you've done a wonderful and original idea based around a preestablished "creature" and keeping true to the roots. sorry for being all off topic, i just wanted to post my thoughts, it's been what 50 strips since i last did that?

y'know i've never seen a full episode of the walking dead, i tried and thought "((zombie movie/game/TOGM)) did a better job" and turn it off.

Can't think of anything to say... Wait, go one, Really loving Beths hair, the shape, the colour, the way it flows, even I can tell the different shades and highlights in it. Bloody copper, the awesome colour of kickass female redheaded warriors, thats the colour i'd call it.

@model S - I really enjoyed the Walking Dead as a TV show, and I enjoyed it... I loved the make up and the concept...

Admittedly, I'm kind of ... unimpressed with their specific take on zombies... It just seems like they really shouldn't have been able to take out as many people as they have...

@Thisguy - And then Beth goes and acts like a pacifist. Way to let the hair down, Beth.
