Am I the only person kind of disturbed about the look of that stuff on Thomas' face? It makes TOGM look even less palatable, somehow.

So now I guess you guys have something of an idea on how these next thirty strips are going to go down... Maybe? I dunno, I would think that it's pretty clear, but I know more about what's going on, so maybe I'm a little biased.

On another note, we were 27th on TopWebcomics for a time, soooo, we're going to have another T-shirt going out... I'm going to delete all the previous emails, so it'll be people who send in new emails.

togmshirt (at) gmail (dot) com !

EDIT: Keep in mind that if you win, you'll have to give me your address to send it to, and a size that you're comfortable with. If you're not willing to do that, then please don't enter :)

Aww, Selene looks really freaked out in the final panel. It's ok Selene.. I'll rescue you soon. You're my favorite little crazy zombie-ish purple-haired character!

@Magravan: you are not the only one, the sight of TOGM'd Thomas made me actually feel sick. Congrats to Skrael for excellent drawing!

It's a factory, not a prison, get a job there and bust her out.

besides after she broke a nail she's probably a bitch to work with, and they would be glad to see her go.

@bbedlam - Sylene :P And it was meant to convey that Phantom kind of burst into things.

@MatthewJA - These are not the rebels you are looking for *handwave* :)

@aok666 - Yeah, it looks very unpleasant... Teach that zombie some table manners!

@T.Gatto - You apparently missed the high standing walls... It's more fortress than factory, as people consider it these days... You have to imagine, the Ones and Twos would mount one hell of an offensive on the place and gorge themselves if there weren't sufficient deterrents in place...

@Becker - That makes it more palatable, actually... Still gross though.

@model S - I'll probably let it go for another week, and then do the drawing. I want to give a few more updates to let people send in the emails :)

Surprisingly no, you're the 4th to enter ;)

Surprisingly?
Who DOESN'T want a TOGM shirt?
model S edit delete reply
model S
@NL: suprisingly because usually i'm the first for everything on togm, i usually stay up till update and read it first and usually comment. i'm also always on top of all the contests and what not.

@mag: i bet that means alot of entries. are you gonna tell what design this time or does the winner get to pick?
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@Muchacho NL - Well, we only had 10-15 ish entries last time... It's not just who wants a TOGM shirt, but also who is willing to accept that breach of their privacy in order to arrange for it...

I know I'm a safe person to give personal information to, but obviously some other people don't know me at all, so you can't really blame them for not risking it just for a $15 t-shirt :)

@model S - The winner will get to choose from a pre-existing design. June doesn't have the time to create a custom image right now... And I would guess that we're probably not going to get more than 20 entries... Out of the people who read the comic, I suspect it's only a small fraction who bother with the author's notes.

I'm betting that despite being where they make the TOGM, it could be perhaps what they make the TOGM from. That has to be a rather closely guarded secret. Between the turn off the tracker and their own supply of TOGM, the Phantom and his minions would be able to act with more impunity. I suspect this was figured out by Robert prior to the "enlightenment" of the population. Way to take over the world 1) build a way to control your undead army, 2) build an undead army. I wonder if Robert is indeed undead? wouldn't that be a head trip.
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
@idd: well, Robert felt his "brain"power go up when Thomas was Enlightened, so he's not a normal human like John, but he might not be a "typical" zombie. After all, who Enlightened HIM?

@Magravan: the only reason I haven't entered is because I already have the one TOGM T-shirt design I wanted ("Can't Sweep: Dustbunnies Will Eat Me", the perfect one for getting out of hoovering). And I haven't sent in a photo of me in the shirt because I can't get my webcam working.

I need a Zombie Intervention.

I just finished re-watching season 1 of "Walking Dead", and can't wait for Season 2.
There is a Zombie Crawl in my town in 2 weeks, and I'm getting my costume ready (Please don't put me on the work schedule boss). TOGM RULES! I could go on and on and on. I just can't get enough Zombies!

What is it about re-animated corpses in mass numbers trying to eat the general populace that fascinates us?

@idd - I always find it interesting when people discuss Robert, simply because of all the questions that arise out of him and his motivations...

@aok666 - That's vaccuuming! I think that the dust bunnies have a fairly indifferent attitude to vaccuuming ;)

And that's cool, if you're happy with the shirt that you've got, it's nice to let other people have a shot at getting one ;)

@T.Gatto - There are a lot of things that it speaks to, I think. Cracked made a list of a few reasons www.cracked.com/article/136_5-reasons-you-secretly-want-zombie-apocalypse/
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
@Magravan: Well, I refuse to sweep fluffy carpet. It's impossible. What about scraping hair out of the carpet with my foot, what's their attitude to that?
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
Murderous :) In fact, outside of vaccuuming, that's pretty much their opinion of any sort of cleaning. I think that the vaccuum calms them or something. It's an insidious threat to the health and well-being of dust bunnies...

I'm thinking of starting PETDB (People for the Ethical Treatment of Dust Bunnies), and starting a movement to ban vaccuum cleaners. These murderous little bunch shouldn't have to get lulled and sucked up to their deaths in those machines!

i want a poster of the zombie dust bunnies with PETDB written on it in chiller (in red so it looks like blood)
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
Or maybe ZETDB? Zombies for the Ethical Treatment of Dust Bunnies?
model S edit delete reply
model S
PERFECT!! i'd love that as a poster!! haha. that'd be great mag! maybe even sign and laminate them.

Sign and laminate? That would be more feasible for something that didn't need to be shipped...
