Hey everyone, hope you guys had a great weekend!

In this one, John and R.Z. have begun the drive back to the city, so I'm looking forward to some of the groups coming back together.

June had to help me with writing this one... I had some things that I wanted to do, but she suggested that I put it off and just mention the fact that they are getting hungry and John's getting tired after all this stuff...

For those who don't know, we got a new kitty. Her name is Moira, and we're currently working on integrating her into our family, as well as keeping Rahne happy with this new intruder into her space.

Have a great week! We'll see you on Thursday :)

I really like how panel 1 came out. It was one of those times where it looked exactly how I envisioned it at the outset. As for panel 3, drawing karma caught up with me as I just could not get tired John's face to look anything like John himself .. oops :/

I liked how the TOGM turned outin panel 4 though... YUM! Only R.Z. seems to love TOGM in it's purest form.

Melted TOGM? Nasty!

@Lawelite - Yes, June and I live together... Are you going to stalk us now?

@Stephen W. aka twalker500 - Well, it was in the glove compartment in the middle of a desert... Probably not ideal circumstances...

I would say that it would end up as one of those "Will he eat it?!" scenarios but ... well... this is R.Z.... So it's not like it's even in question... :D

I should not have been eating while reading this. I nearly tossed my sandwich. Oh well, I still laughed even while choking on the sandwich.

I need to eat some of that. It looks tasty - like thick pudding. Specifically, the juices look tastier than the TOGM proper, but hey - when in Rome, do as the zombies...do...

...wait.

Lawelite = FACEPALM

Anyway, it seems being human would lead to a lot of really awkward situations...
@Skrael would the fact that he's a two influence his love for pure TOGM?

Hey; John and RZ do not have their respective seat belts on, I'm calling Zombie Services and filing a complaint!

As for the TOGM, it comes in cans, pouches, bags, burgers and fries forms, and somewhere you can probably get TOGM on a stick and Sushi. Does it all taste the same, or are their different grades, brands, or whatever?
D_Man edit delete reply
especially with all that "one" traffic you have to drive through
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
@T. Gatto: RZ has his seatbelt on, look closely at Panel 2. Hard to tell with John due to his angle, all I can see is the bit of the strap behind him. He's the one who really needs a seatbelt though, so I hope it's on!
RZ has been confirmed as the exception to the rule when it comes to actually liking TOGM.
I can't wait for the comic when John actually has no choice but to swallow TOGM. I wonder what effect it has on humans?

Really bad calamari.
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
@Hornet: what has really bad calamari got to do with anything?
neon5162 (Guest) edit delete reply
beth and john had a converstaion about about the whole brains gaining int thing and it was likend to a pyramid scheme since beth enlightend 2 people and they both became ones and since at least 1 of them is a 3 means that beth was able to become a 4 without eating too many other brains and yes in some cases of cloning there have been cases of amneisa when the clone has not been completed or is not designed like that also in other cases of clones they have no previuos memeroys only facts and what not meaning they have to make their own personality while other clones are instamade with the memeroys and personalitys of their primes aka i watch and read too much scifi lol
neon5162 edit delete reply
int = intelligance
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
Firstly, clones IRL are separate people with their own personalities, minds etc. :-)
Secondly, if you read the whole thing, Beth says that she only Enlightened two people but one of them Enlightened a LOT of people and became a Four himself, which also made her a Four (the pyramid scheme thing - every time one of your converts gets a boost, you get a boost).
We later learn that these two people were Chad and Sylene (when Chad first arrives).

@aok666 Thats the ultimate pyramid scheme, isn't it?
neon5162 edit delete reply
yes thats y i included that bit about having no memorys and having to make up their own personality and theroticly it is possible to map the brain wave patterns and other electric signals that the brain gives out and copy them onto a exact duplicte of the brain aka a clones brain still after that their personalitys would differ because of differnt life experinces
and second thats also y i said that at least one of the people she enlighting was at least a 3 i wasnt sure or not if chad was a 3 or a 4 and 3rd yes i did read it all
Skrael (I'm the artist)
Shoot .. they were both supposed to be wearing seat belts. I plain out forgot to draw the pat of John's around his shoulder. I'll fix that up :)

@Skrael: That's OK when I tried to call information for the # to Zombie Services, I was politely informed that this was, in fact, the REAL WORLD, so no such # exists. I guess I'll let you off the hook this time, with a warning. ;)

I was thinking about eating TOGM, and I came to the realization that (if I lived iv Zombie Comic Apocalypse world) I would eat it by the pound, if Beth would wear it for me!

I started reading this today. Read from beginning to current and love it! Keep it up folks!

Maybe the comic just takes place in NH where you don't need seatbelts if you're an adult. ;)

@Syaoran - I'll try to remember to include a disclaimer in the future. WARNING: Should not be read by anyone consuming sandwiches due to possible choking hazard.

@model S - I just copied off yours, I didn't want to actually have to come up with my own answers :P Nah, but it's great that people are aware of what's going on... I know that with our schedule and the fact that we're creeping up on the two year mark for having done this, that sometimes it's easy for people to forget details about things...

@Jrade - I get the feeling that you would get along so much easier than John has with an attitude like that... Up until you died and were turned into a zombie. But until then, soooo much better.

@MatthewJA - There was a time when I debated having other people figure him out, but I think that the awkwardness of trying to keep himself secret is more fun... And R.Z. is atypical in enjoying the common brand. Other twos prefer the more impressive looking stuff, R.Z. is just strange.

@EcM - I really liked it too, especially the lighting effects :)

@T.Gatto - We're monsters, I know... Letting our poor characters be left needlessly at risk like that? Really, I don't know how we sleep at night :(

The TOGM is basically the same stuff, but added colours and junk to make it look more like real food. There is a taste difference that they seem to appreciate, but whether or not that's mainly in their heads, I haven't made expressly clear :)

@D_Man - Yeah, if he's calling Zombie Services on us, I think he's going to have a lot more to talk about than just seatbelts...

@aok666 - I certainly don't envy John the day when he has to actually eat TOGM. Bleech.

@Hornet - I haven't had Calamari :)

@aok666 - Maybe the texture of the stuff?

@neon5162 - Chad is also a 4. He had more to do with Beth being a 4 than Sylene did ;)

@aok666 - That's right :)

@Futurevgd - It sure is! And one that REALLY motivates people to participate ;)

@neon5162 - Chad is a 4, Sylene is a 3 :)

@moizmad - Thanks for the support Mo :)

@T.Gatto - Is the warning "Don't ever try to call Zombie Services"? :)

And even if she were wearing is as edible undergarments, I don't think I could eat it. Bleech.

@Silentus - Awesome, I'm glad you enjoyed it ;D Thanks for letting us know you enjoyed it!

@Guest - No way.. If anything, Robert would be more concerned... In the real world, deaths are sad but necessary as new life is created. In TOGMland, each death is one step closer to extinction...

Also, I've decided that if June's okay with it, I'm going to enable the replies that Kyo set up. I think it'll look nicer.
