Sorry you have to deal with my sucky bubbles again muhuhaha.

hahaha.

Also, note to self: Use hand references more often ... really. How hard is it to turn on the webcam and take a few snaps of your hands to look at while drawing? See how much easier it is to draw hands? See??

I like the hands. And the close-up of the face. And even the bubbles. Don't let people make you feel bad. They are perfectly suitable bubbles. xD
greengirl77 (Guest) edit delete reply
ok I lied. That is not all...You have pretty hands.

robert has girl hands now

also: New theory. Robert is thomas' father

Thisguy (Guest) edit delete reply
Not sure i completely understand what they are talking about in the last two comics... so much of what is said in web-comics is lost because of inflection, attitude, they way they say it anyway, cant always be expressed visually.
Anyway Beth was obviously thinking that Robert knew Thomas/John was human, but instead he just thought she meant that Thomas was working with the Phantom? or was Robert just covering up? Did Robert know Thomas was human?
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
@thisguy: so far as i can tell, beth was saying "WHAT YOU KNEW JOHN WAS HUMAN!?" and ol' bob doesn't want alex to know there WERE brains to chomp, but they were hidden away. so he's covering it up with his awesome/evil/whatever. and that's a summary of the last 2 TOGMs i think that was pretty good.
the_brigand (Guest) edit delete reply
If I had to guess, and I don't, I'd say Robert has a secret crush on Thomas.

Better that then mutated fish monster hands, I kept having visuals of him turning into some twisted kind of necromorph from dead space.. except he is already kinda the hivemind/ubermorph.... brb finding a plasma cutter!

Has anyone suggested Twins yet for John/Thomas(or possibly Triplets etc.. )?

They could be close enough DNA matches for the blood to open the shelter door anyway.
Ghost286 edit delete reply
Ghost286
Think the twins concept has been mentioned by a few people before, I know I drew it up among the possible theories in a previous post but said post did mention shapeshifting psychic raccoon's >_>
T.Gatto edit delete reply
T.Gatto
The world could definitely use more shapeshifting psychic raccoon's, along with some Ancient Tandem Psychic War-Elephants!

two twins, one of whom lost his memory and they both happened to survive the zombie apocalypse, whereas only one was staying in that bunker.
Not to mention that john got dumped out in the first comic. How does this play into the twin theory?

Which is what I was getting at Kyo back in the comments for 197 ^^

@greengirl77 - Well okay then.

@Tamdrin - They are just different, not necessarily better or worse... For purposes of continuity, I try my best to keep it uniform ;)

@greengirl77 - YOU LIED TO ME!

@Kyo - That's important. His new hands add a feminine touch ;) And that's an interesting theory ;) I could totally do a "John... I AM YOUR FATHER!" moment... :)

@Thisguy - That's sort of intentional... Robert's posture is meant to show that he's not hesitating at all or showing any signs that he might be lying. Whether he is lying (and just really good at it) or that's what he meant for real, I guess we'll see :)

@model S - That seems like a good summary :)

@the_brigand - Save it for the slash fiction ;)

@Ghost286 - If I had any clue what you were talking about, I would assume that things were becoming clearer :D

@T.Gatto - Twins is something that has been thrown out, yes.

@Ghost286 - I call that the Scattergun theory method ;)

@T.Gatto - War Elephants of any sort make everything better.

@Kyo - That first part sounds so much better in the "Movie Teaser" voice.. Which you may or may not know about, now that I think about it...

@Ghost - 197? Is that the actual number as opposed to the strip number?

In my opinion, the five always looks super-weird.
AND I LIKE TO THINK HE SHOUTS ALL THE TIME :D
Ghost286 edit delete reply
Ghost286
Actually that's strip 155 I meant just I was lazy and glanced at the browser addy. As for necromorphs well look up a game called dead space.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@MatthewJA - Not yelling, just powerful ;) That's what the font means to me :)

@Ghost286 - Oh okay, I don't tend to pay attention to the address... I've heard of Dead Space before, but I didn't pay much attention to it :) Very rarely do I bother with games rated M, because the kids aren't really old enough to be playing the games that actually deserve the rating, and it's not worth $60 for something that only I will play..
Thisguy (Guest) edit delete reply
Yeah, I can see that, Robert is that sort of that cool lier
Ghost286 edit delete reply
Ghost286
Well its only about £15.00 in the UK now on steam (no idea what that is in yanky money) but yeah it sure as heck is not a game you wants kids catching even a glimpse off.

Also Robert has a semi goatee he's clearly going to be an evil crazy mastermind, he probably kicks kittens for fun and clubs baby seals.
hagelander (Guest) edit delete reply
he clubs baby seals 'til their brains are splattered across the ice and then he kicks kittens until they collect the brains for him
followed ofcourse by kicking the kittens 'til their brains are splattered over the ice and poking baby seals with a club until they collect the brains of the kittens

@Ghost286 - Yes we all know the goatee is the mark of the beast isn't it? At least in the Mirror Universe! ;)

What happened to Beth? She disappeared like Don Corleone's cat! Lol :)
Ghost286 edit delete reply
Ghost286
Crazy as it may seem some people do not know about the inbuilt evil of goatee people, much like they think the grand vizor is also a good man. (and studies have shown anyone who is a grand vizor is scheming evil harbinger of doom even without a goatee!)

As for Beth I'm betting the Dust Bunnies have dragged her to the scorpion pit and should she survive that encounter, she'll be put into a death match vs a shapeshifting psychic raccoon! (yeah I'm going to keep that raccoon madness going as long as I can dammit!) and she will only be armed with a paper clip and a pizza box and will design some kind of mcguyver device to win.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
@Thisguy - He's definitely composed when talking at this point :D

@Ghost286 - To be fair, the baby seals might have had delicious brains...

@hagelander - It's a good system, really. So long as he continues to get brains, it seems like a well oiled machine ;D

@jordanch68 - She's just not a part of that dialogue, so she wasn't shown ;D

@Ghost286 - I'm pretty sure that the Grand Vizier as a title is code for backstabbing jerk...

One of these days I think I might take a note from Kristy's book and just rip all the extra stuff out and just put it in its own individual section :)
Romero84 (Guest) edit delete reply
I would assume that Robert knew Thomas was human, seeing as he sensed his death in his little "quickening moment".
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
It certainly seems that way :)
