I wonder how many people called that during the last strip? :D

Anyway, I think that this comic is good in the sense that despite not being funny, it delves a little more into the Chad dynamic, and how he deals with problems. I like it for that reason. However, I HATE those bubbles in panel 2 and 3. Hate hate hate! Stupid bubbles. Bubble creation is not my strong point :d

In other, vastly more important news, we played Last Night On Earth with some friends (One of whom is a TOGM reader!) and I have to say it is a REALLY fun game. June and I were on separate teams with a partner each.. First scenario, her team had to find Townsfolk before escaping.

Unfortunately for them... My partner pulled an EPIC roll after playing a card that let us fill a building with zombies and the high school (where three of four heroes were) was suddenly a zombie fest. He attacked the one girl who was in her own square and killed her off, and then because June had a male and female in the same square, I used "This could be our last night..." card to make them miss their turn due to getting busy... In the square RIGHT BESIDE where the farmer's daughter just got killed by zombies :D

Needless to say, shortly thereafter we'd fulfilled the zombie win condition of killing two heroes :D

The second scenario we played the heroes, and we had to find the gasoline and keys and then reach the truck in the middle of town. Fortunately, we managed to hole up in the Gun shop, and June took over the high school and gym on the other side of town, and we managed to win (though, not nearly as well as I thought we were going to... A fight against 3 zombies on the truck almost got us killed).

Anyway, if you enjoy zombies and board games, I highly recommend it. It was a great evening after part of our Battletech group wasn't able to make it. We're looking into getting some expansion sets for later, and I was thinking that if we ever got to do a Con as presenters, it might be a fun thing to do with people if you guys were interested :D

Anyway, sorry for the rambling, I just really enjoyed the game and wanted to share :D

Note to self: Don't play games with James. Unless he is on my team.

Also, I hate drawing cell phones.

Also, panel 4 has no background for dramatic effect. Honestly. O.O Totally not because I hate drawing backgrounds...

@Metsfan - I'm glad you're enjoying it :) I'm hoping that as my writing gets better, the process will be smoother, and things wont feel so rushed and out of place ;)

@Onecanofsprite - The background is there, but only for super smart people... Are you SURE you don't see it? :D (Hey, if it worked on the Emperor...)

@Joobaloob56 - Time will tell if it was clever or not.

The PSOs found his super secret bunker with a camera system that spans most of the city, his main stores of food and whatever semblance of safety he had in this world... Nothing bad could possibly happen! :)

*sniff* Magravan...is our little John going to be zombie food? ;(

oops magraven havent't looked in a couple of days just seen your reply to my commient. The two Pso actually said they were the nearest operative while beth's shadow passed a few strips back so blame my rubbish memory. Heh.
so it looks like John going to haved to move again.
Or maybe Chad will learn he's human which could only cause troubl still it would be funny though.

@greenfirl77 - Maaaaaybe :D

@snoog - They were meant to say it when John was close to her... I might have messed it up by changing the order of the bubbles in the panels in order to fit things in better... If so, oops :D

I don't trust Chad. Ever. That being said, he is being slightly clever, assuming June doesn't know him well enough to get an idea about what he could be up to.

I'm going to have to look into that Last Night on Earth game. I've been looking into games for my wife and I to play, but man.. all the ones I'm interested in are so freakin' expensive (Arkham Asylum, Smallworld, etc... 60.00 each? COME ON!). On the other hand, I think you and June would like ONCE UPON A TIME which is a storytelling game. We also play GLOOM and MONTY PYTHON FLUXX

By June, I presume you mean Beth.. ;)

errrr, Last Night on earth is expensive too.. I think I paid over $100 for the base game and the expansion (and the shipping) I will look into Once Upon a Time as well :)
