To anyone who reads these notes, I want you to realize that any ad space on TOGM or any other Comic Fury comic is there because we voluntarily chose to add it, either for our own benefit, or because we wanted to support Comic Fury. If you're considering making a comic, I'll just say that I'm so glad that we picked Comicfury to host our comic initially. No matter what the future holds for TOGM, CF will always be the place that TOGM found a home and a community.

With that gushing past, I just wanted to say that the alt-text was originally going to be Chad's analogy, but ... I disliked giving Chad Star Wars lines. Mainly because I didn't want him being a jerk around Star Wars :D

If you're tired of the PSOs, we're going to go hang out with Sylene and the Phantom next (I believe.)

I'm not sure if I mentioned it yet, but I beat Assassin's Creed 2. Weird ending, and I'm not as excited for Brotherhood as I was for AC2 after the ending. I love the fact that I got to fight people in the credits though.. That was pretty awesome :D All in all, it was pretty fun!

Uhm.. Just to wrap things up, I've been doing interviews of other creators, and thinking about maybe posting them in a blog attached to the comic if anyone is interested in reading them. Also, I have to make a guest comic for MatthewJA, but I'm not funny or good at drawing, so I'm having trouble...

Well, have a great week! We'll see you on Thursday!

Yeah, I thought that "wont" looked a bit off. My Spell Check isn't bitching about it though, so maybe it's not actually wrong for some technical reason?

Also: last panel = awesome :D

'Nuff said.

I am in love with that last panel! It is just awesomeness.

@Magravan - On beating Assassin's Creed 2, need pictures or no way. If you are truly done Assassin's Creed 2 then take Skrael out for dinner cause you should have the time.

About the Comic, I see some real improvement on body posture in conveying emotion, I noticed it not because it was bad before, but over several comics it has been improving. Frankly I am impressed at the level the artist is extending her abilities. Good job Skrael.

Oh and I am more at ease with Chad's situation, it appears that you made me feel it at the height of the plot. Darn it that was good writing which means I have to say something nice about it, just don't let it go to your head.

On won't vs. wont. Wont is a word, but it has a different meaning than "will not"'s abbreviation.

Let's look at the dictionary definition, because it's far more efficient than my long-winded explanation I had in mind was: (Yes--this is SHORTER than what I was going to type on the subject :P)

adjective, noun, verb, wont, wont or wont·ed, wont·ing.
–adjective
1.
accustomed; used (usually followed by an infinitive): He was wont to rise at dawn.
–noun
2.
custom; habit; practice: It was her wont to walk three miles before breakfast.
–verb (used with object)
3.
to accustom (a person), as to a thing.
4.
to render (a thing) customary or usual (usually used passively).
–verb (used without object)
5.
Archaic . to be wont.
Use wont in a Sentence

Search wont on the Web
Origin:
1300–50; (adj.) Middle English wont, woned, Old English gewunod, past participle of gewunian to be used to ( see won2 ); cognate with German gewöhnt; (v.) Middle English, back formation from wonted or wont (past participle); (noun) apparently from conflation of wont (past participle) with obsolete wone wish, in certain stereotyped phrases

@MarshmallowGherkin - Wrong usage, even though it's a real word. :/ Like affect / effect :D

@greengirl77 - I just realized I forgot to put the dialogue arrow in...

@Jamming - Chad's situation is something of a roller coaster, I think.. Ups and downs.. :)

As for Assassin's Creed 2, I beat the main story, but haven't finished EVERY SINGLE side quest :D

@Jrade - He admitted outright.. Not much of a scheme :D The privilege of power, I suppose ;)

@ranger_brian_new - Yeah... :) And I know that about wont / won't, I just screw it up sometimes (more often than I'd like..) :/ Won't just looks stupid for some reason...

@redder - Technically he never actually managed to rape her. He's more attempted rapist :)

@Zephirot93 - Alexander :P

Something about seeing Chad get his comeuppance makes me rejoice.

Okay, he's removed his tie, he's now undoing the button on his sleeve, is he stripping, or what?? I know you're trying to give him something to do, but it's going to be a porno if he doesn't start doing something non-clothes related.

Good panels today. :)
Skrael (I'm the artist)
Fragmented, get your mind out of the gutter. :P
He's straitening his cuff, and just pulling it down from inside the sleeve.

And, thanks for the compliments, everyone.:)

You know I was just thinking, if chads body isn't his real body what did he look like pre-enlightenment
Jamming edit delete reply
Jamming
I would suggest that his body type was similar to John, since his clothes fit John.
Skrael (I'm the artist)
Pretty much yeah .. Chad upgraded his body considerably.

hey the comicfury badass character award tournament is in round 2, i wanted to note that all the TOGM characters made it (beth, sylene, and corpsey) along with mccoy of mushroom go!

on to the comic: great work! it really does look like the PSO is stripping, and that makes me lol. perhaps chad should comment about it.
Magravan edit delete reply

@Kevin - Hahaha.. This is sooo not his comeuppance :D

@Fragmented - That's hilarious :D "WHY ARE YOU STRIPPING?!" "I have no other action I could think to do... It just seemed right at the time!"

@Anonymouse - He was a lot smaller :D

@Jamming - Yep, he was a smaller guy, pre-enlightenment... John's fitting pretty well into his clothes, so he can't have been too much bigger than John. He was a little bigger though... More wiry and muscle-y than John, but not like he is now...

@model S - We did notice that, but we decided that we wouldn't try to ask our readers to vote for our characters unless we went up against someone who had done the same (Which is what McCoy's creator did)...

I didn't want to turn it a friendly competition into "Who can get more readers to vote for them?!" :D If one of our characters makes it up against McCoy though, I might ask, simply to counter his :)
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
i think alot of mccoy's votes came from readers that actually liked mccoy. i personally would have liked to see guy, but oh well. i voted for all the togm characters and mccoy. as i like both the comics, i just think it's intresting that ALL the TOGM characters got through round 1, corpsey and sylene having over 60 votes each, sylene's opponent only having 22 i think.
Magravan edit delete reply
Magravan
That is true... But a lot of voting was probably skewed by people who didn't care about the contest as a whole, and just picked McCoy and then random voted everyone else... The A bracket received about 20+ votes that no other bracket did, and I'm guessing that some lost by less than 20 votes...

That being said, I voted for McCoy as well.

Also, Sylene's opponent didn't even have a comic posted. The fact that he got any votes at all is suspect.

I think that the Cintiq has opened up some opportunities for June, and I'm guessing that as she has more time to play with it, it's going to get even better..
